2022-2025 Highlights
Jim Draper
Either I’ve been taking it easy on posts—or the past three-plus years have flown by in a blur.
From late 2022 into 2023, work settled into a new rhythm of hybrid and on-site productions, with COVID tests and safety protocols still part of the daily checklist. Projects carried me from studio floors to far-flung cities—New York, Minneapolis, and Las Vegas—and marked a welcome return to international work in London and Berlin. Closer to home, Nashville and Washington, DC hosted their share of memorable productions.
In 2024, the road (and runway) expanded again, with projects in Boston, Phoenix, and Barcelona, along with—naturally—another stop in Las Vegas.
The first half of 2025 continued at pace, taking me through Nashville, Miami, Anaheim, Los Angeles, Napa, and San Francisco. Las Vegas made two more appearances, nestled between trips to Barcelona and San Diego, before the year wrapped with a final production in Frankfurt.
The year ended with a documentary fundraising event at 2200 Studios (the former Record Plant) in Sausalito.
It may read like a travelogue, but that’s the nature—and the privilege—of live event production and media work. I’m deeply grateful for the collaborators, colleagues, and clients who make these projects possible and keep the work both challenging and rewarding.
Here’s to a great 2026 and beyond!
